Charis is all about caring and supporting members and friends of our church. Charis (Greek for God’s Grace), is a ministry of love and sharing. Our motto is, “We care, God cures.”
Over the years, our congregation has seen the need to care of our members and friends. We believe that caring and sharing God’s grace is not the task of the ministers alone, but a task of the membership of the church. In addition to our ministers, we are the ones who God calls to spread Charis. In the spirit of the Apostle Paul’s words about the abundance of the grace and love God freely gives us, this ministry has evolved into Charis.
Team volunteers meet throughout the year to discuss concerns as well as receive updated training regarding health care from professionals in our community i.e. grief counselors, psychologists, and medical doctors.
Charis is always open for new volunteers to join us in caring for our brothers and sisters in Christ. God blesses each of us with unique gifts that we can share with others to further God’s kingdom, wherever God’s Spirit calls us to go.
